    Special event workshops
These three workshops are stand alone events.  Each with their own all new  resource sets.
    Scatterbrain
Scatterbrain isn’t your usual vocal or singing workshop.  If it were, we would call it choir.   Scatterbrain is something altogether new and different….where melody meets rhythm and voices become beats.  Stephen Sajkowsky, Musical Futures’ lead trainer provides the grooves and charismatic Melbourne muso and jazz singer Julie O’Hara lends her voice.

Explore the rhythm of words, vocal scales, creating vocables (look it up!), improv singing and the language and vocabulary of scat through  blues to jazz and bebop to bossa each groove suggesting new rhythmic articulations and melodic sequences.

    Mastering the Electric Guitar
This workshop is designed for teachers who have students playing the acoustic guitar but are wanting to get playing in bands with electric instruments.  The workshop provides resources, tips and tricks plus you'll leave with a free electric guitar!

    Now Make A Band
The ultimate aim of Musical Futures is to help learners become independent musicians.  Typically that means making bands that are student led. Now Make a Band, helps teachers to help their students with that transition from whole class to small ensemble through
rehearsal techniques, setting up equipment, building a repertoire, developing a stage presence, selecting and arranging songs and developing audiences.
